So we need a new receiver with old good software. Am I correct ? Then it ca be used to downgrade the new software (Default software on new STBs). Any mistake in it ?

yes............ and the Best old Software is of Ver. 3.00 ................. May some likes 1.55 ........................


Great thing in ver 3.00 is that it not get upgrade............ but if u wanna use only FTA............ then i Suggest ver 1.55..............

Here is the software and loader for Zenega 1005s
this is the firmware used by cable operators with this u can run C Band Channels and it will not update when u switch it to Dish TV Satellite(NSS 6)

Can we take a back up of the software of zenega reciever on our pc,

as i was trying to take back up, of old zenega reciever, but it was not extracting, but when i try with new reciever, its working fine,

Also i want a bin file of old Zenega cd1004is , can u plz upload it,

well from PC to STB download is not going on........... and no one has Zenega's software within pc............... what we can get from loader is just a DATABASE........... it's not software...................

So better option is STB to STB..............

 may God also give some sense to software maker of DISHTV...........

or simple u can flash memory of two chips. by removing and re-attaching............ all it cost is 150-200 Rs..............

Wellcome to RealInfo.............. If u wanna enjoy FTA on ur STB............... go to your local market and change STB's software to Ver. 1.55 or 3.00 ................ and if u can do yourself as discuss in this thread........ it's great..........

actually in market i have seen a Software cd with some person,

He is having All sotwares in this cd, like zenga, kaon, and other DTH softwares,

i chk the file size its not 324 kb in size ,, its 2 mb ,


So any body can provide me these softwares
